Eco Pledge
Printmaking Cult keeps environmental concerns at the forefront of its product creation and content delivery, because you can't print if the planet is uninhabitable.
To reduce product waste, inventory is kept to a minimum and devotional items are created once an order has been placed. Although orders may take a few weeks to ship, you can trust I'm getting to work right away! Editioned prints however, do not follow this guideline, as the entire edition is finished before being listed. But, they are printed on paper cut offs from projects that did not require a full 22 x 30 in. sheet.
Paper products are shipped with re-purposed cardboard to keep your items flat. Receiving prints in a cereal box may seem weird, but it reduces waste and the price for you! Instead of buying cardboard for a single use (i.e. packaging) cereal boxes are given a last hurrah before getting recycled. Plus you get to find out what your Cult Leader and her cohabitators eats for breakfast.
Reducing waste is also in your hands. When choosing packaging options, please consider choosing newsprint instead of non-recyclable archival sleeves.
Thank you for joining me on a creative journey with the planet in mind.
